Cultural comMittee
The Cultural Committee is a group of talented individuals responsible for organising inter and intra college cultural events throughout the year. We not only strive to bring out out the best in each performer, but also promote their skills so that they can excel in their respective fields. The Cultural Commitee has a number of clubs under its umbrella including ones of dance (Cygnus and Phoenix), music (Cadenza), fashion (Purple Haze) and dramatics (Aaghaz). We work with them to bring exciting events throughout the year, that keeps both, participants and organizers on their toes.
SPORTS COMMITTEE
Every team has the potential to rise and shine if a group of like minded, passionate, focused and committed people get together. This is the narrative that we, the Sports Committee of KMC Manipal, live by. We are a group of sports enthusiasts who diligently organize, assist and encourage the students to participate actively in indoor and outdoor sports and games at KMC. Sports build a character that every medic must posses. Looking forward to strengthen the sporting culture at KMC with each and every one of you!
The EDITORIAL BOARD
The Editorial Board aims to showcase talent across the college in the form of Art, Photography, Videography and Writing through the premier content put up on social media, Yearbook – Signum Vitalis and most notably the Festival of Ideas.
The Festival of Ideas is a fest organized by the Editorial Board and consists of workshops and competitions which enable people to build upon their creativity and exhibit their talent.
We capture the best moments of throughout the year through written and photographic coverage. At the Editorial Board, we firmly believe that medicine is incomplete without an understanding and deep appreciation for the finer arts.
Social welfare committee
We, at the Social Welfare Committee, are a tight knit family with big ideas for change.
We take our commitment to helping the environment, local animals, and people very seriously.
We want people with a passion for community service and who want to work to help their community.

The Literary Committee
Literary Committee of KMC Manipal organizes fests like Verve (intracollege), Invictus and Utsav(intercollege). It also organizes various other events round the year, including workshops and open mics. Public speaking, creative writing, art, quizzing and photography are some of the broad divisions that come under the aegis of the committee but we are willing to explore and include other events under the supervision of our dynamic and highly efficient team.
STUDENT RESEARCH FORUM
The Student Research Forum is a student-driven initiative dedicated to fostering a culture of research and academic collaboration within KMC. Through workshops, interactive sessions, and flagship events like Vedam, SRF provides students with opportunities to explore scientific thinking beyond the curriculum. SRF functions through different domains that work together to plan and execute every event seamlessly, making teamwork the foundation of everything we do. Beyond academics, SRF has become a space where students develop leadership, communication and organizational skills while working alongside peers with shared enthusiasm and ideas.
Finance committee
The Finance Committee is made up of a small group of people that collaborate with all other clubs and committees to oversee the financial aspects of every festival and event held at the college. The entire committee works together to guarantee that the reimbursement procedure, as well as obtaining sponsorships and dispersing prize money, is well-organized. We manage the budgets of numerous clubs and committees and serve as a liaison between them and the college’s financial department. We at the finance committee would love to have you as a member if you are well-versed in finance or perhaps have a keen interest to learn it.
